BRONCO TUESDAY’S: Boise State athletics will be shifting its weekly social event from a Monday luncheon in the Student Union Building to Tuesday evening's at the Stueckle Sky Center. Bronco Tuesday's presented by Carl's Jr. debuts on Tuesday, September 1. The weekly event will take place every Tuesday during football season (with the exception of Oct. 13 when the football team travels to Tulsa for an Oct. 14 game), and in January and February during basketball season.
Bronco Tuesday's
is scheduled to run from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm (doors open at 5:00 pm) and
will be held in conjunction with KIDO's weekly radio show featuring
Coach Petersen during football season and Coach Graham in basketball.
The coaches show will originate from the Stueckle Sky Center, running
from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm on Tuesday's. The show can be heard on KIDO
and throughout the Bronco Radio Network, while live video streaming
of the show, including previous game highlights and player features,
will be available via Bronco Vision on BroncoSports.com. Prior to the
radio show, other Bronco coaches will be introduced and visit with the
sky center audience. Coach Petersen will take questions from the
Stueckle Sky Center audience at 7:00 pm following the radio show. Admission to
the event is $9 for Bronco Athletic Association members and $11 for
non-members. That includes an appetizer buffet, available from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A no host bar will also be open
for those attending Bronco Tuesday's. Parking is free within the
Bronco Stadium parking lot. “JUST
B” CAMPAIGN: Earlier this summer, the athletic department launched
the Just B Campaign, designed to create a stronger community connection
with Bronco teams by emphasizing the core values of the Boise State
athletic program. The word "Just"
in front of the "B", sets the actions in motion. By
utilizing the Boise State "B" font in this new way, Just B
provides a graphically inspired look as well. Six "B"
phrases will be used throughout the Just B campaign: B Proud, B True,
B Committed, B Positive, B Champions and B There. Qualities that
embrace sportsmanship, academics, community service, loyalty and doing
what's right, the core values of the athletic department. The
concept is based on the premise that regardless of whether a student-athlete
or a fan, those principles have the same meaning in representing Boise
State and what it means to be a Bronco. 2009 FOOTBALL
