Boise State Soccer to Face No. 3 UCLA in First Round of NCAA Tournament...

The Boise State University soccer team fresh off its Western Athletic Conference championship run this past weekend learned Monday night that they will face one of the top four seeds of the tournament in the first round of the NCAA Soccer Championship this weekend. The Broncos (13-6-4) will play the No. 3 ranked UCLA Bruins (17-2-1) at 6:30 p.m. (Mountain) time in Los Angeles, Calif., in the first of two contests that evening. The tournament is being hosted at UCLA’s Drake Stadium.

UCLA enters the event as the No. 1 seed in the bracket, it marks the third year in a row that the Bruins have received a No. 1 seed. Meanwhile, Boise State competing in its first ever NCAA soccer tournament earned the 16th seed as the representative of the WAC. The winner of the UCLA-Boise State match will play the winner of Friday’s second contest between the University of San Diego (12-6-2) and San Diego State University (14-3-5) at 2 p.m. (Mountain) on Sunday afternoon.

Tickets for this weekend’s matches are $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for youth/students.
