Purpose/General Information

The purpose of our camp is to make every individual who attends a better football player when they leave. We emphasize championship technique in the game of football and life to give each player and team attending the competitive edge.

Through selected contact and non-contact drills our goal is to improve a young player's performance in the game of football. Campers will be able to receive personalized instruction from the Boise State football coaching staff. We stress individual technique and football fundamentals, which will allow campers to return to their respective programs with an improved understanding. The daily camp schedule features position specific drills, team preparation, team install, scrimmaging, and evening "Big Man" challenges and team pass competition.

In addition to football instruction, campers will also learn important lessons from the Boise State coaching staff regarding academic responsibility, dedication, and recruiting.

Camp will conclude daily with situational challenges. Examples: 4 plays from the 10 yard line, Red Zone offense vs defense, etc.

Camp Coaches

The Boise State coaching staff oversees the direction of the camp and is actively involved in the instruction and drills of every camper.

Guest coaches with collegiate and high school coaching experience also assist in coaching. This ensures that all campers will be able to receive focused instruction from a number of different coaches.

Teams

The Boise State Football Camp is one of the premier camps in the nation for high school teams. Our goal for teams attending camp is to provide extensive practice time and game-like situations to prepare them for the upcoming season.

Teams staying overnight will reside in the Boise State University housing and will enjoy all meals in the Boise River Café. Both, the University housing and Boise River Café, are just footsteps away from the state of the art Caven-Williams Indoor facility and the world renowned blue field, dubbed by Nike as "Sacred Ground."

The camp features extensive team competition time, including 7 on 7 Passing Competition, Big Man Competition, and scrimmages against other high school teams from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Nevada with similar enrollment and experience.

Coaches must submit their rosters and rooming lists by May 29, making it possible for us to accommodate your needs. Coaches must enter all players information using the website with insurance information for all players. Coaches please provide footballs for your team.

Application/Registration

Individual

Registration deadline is 5:00 pm on June 9th. Registration can be completed online at www.broncosports.com or by mailing the registration form along with the medical form.

All individuals attending will be placed on with other individual campers on a "RENEGADE" team.

Team

Coaches should register all campers at the same time in order to receive the group rate - contact camp director Viliami Tuivai for specific instructions. Please make photocopies of the registration and medical forms for your team.

Registration/Check-In

Registration and check-in will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Caven-Williams Indoor Complex on Saturday, June 12.

Equipment

All campers must have a complete set of approved gear: helmet, chinstrap, shoulder pads, football pants, kneepads, thigh pads, tailbone pad, mouthpiece, and jersey. Our sessions will be on the grass and artificial grass surface, so cleats are preferable. Campers should bring socks, jocks, t-shirts, and some shorts. You can also bring your own football if you prefer, be sure to visibly write your name on it. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. There is a limited amount of rental equipment available for $50.  Please place order on line at www.broncosports.com.  Available on a first come first serve basis. 

Prices/Team Rates

Overnight campers: $295 - includes all meals, lodging, and instruction. There will be a $30 charge if a camper loses their dorm keys.

Day Campers: $185 - includes lunch only, dinner can be purchased for an additional $40 at the time of check in.

Pro-Rated Prices

For campers unable to attend all five days of camp, there are pro-rated prices available. Included in the pro-rated cost of camp, each camper will receive a 2010 Boise State Football Camp t-shirt and meals. Listed below are the pro-rated prices.

1 DAy with overnight in dorms $80- Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included

Medical Information/Eligibility

Campers must be between the ages of those entering ninth grade and seniors-to-be in high school. We will match campers against others by age, ability level, and Boise State coaches' discretion.

Campers must have their own medical insurance to attend camp. Please fill out the medical information completely. Campers are also required to bring a photo copy of their medical card the day of camp check-in for our records. Certified athletic trainers are in attendance at every session and reside in dorms for consultation. You must have a completed medical card on file before you will be allowed to practice.  No exceptions.

Room and Board

All overnight campers will stay in Boise State University housing, just footsteps away from the Boise River and the Boise State football facilities.

A standard bed pack is provided: pillow, pillowcase, blanket, sheets. Towels will be available for purchase. Campers should bring any additional toiletries personally.

Meals

All overnight campers will be provided with one meal on Saturday (dinner), three meals Sunday through Tuesday (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and one meal on Wednesday (breakfast). Campers will dine in the Boise River Café.

Day campers will only receive lunch Sunday through Tuesday, dinners can be purchased for an additional $40 at the time of check-in.

Roommates

Campers staying overnight are able to choose who they would like to be roommates with. Roommate requests are available on the registration form.

It is the campers responsibility to communicate with the person they would like to be roommates with to ensure that they both request each other as roommates. Campers who do not request a roommate will be roomed at the discretion of the camp director.

Bronco 7 on 7 Passing Tournament

This tournament allows each team that participates the opportunity to be crowned the Bronco Passing Champion. These non-contact contests will be held on one of our two grass fields, premier indoor facility, or in Bronco Stadium. 

Trench Warfare Competition

This unique competition allows the "Big Men of the Trenches" (Offensive and Defensive Lineman) the opportunity to show off their skills, strength, and agility. Boise State defensive line coach Pete Kwiatkowski and offensive line coach Chris Strausser have formulated these drills to give you the competitive edge for your championship season.
