BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men’s tennis player Vicente Joli has earned top Western Athletic Conference honors for his outstanding play throughout the month of October, as the senior was named Verizon Wireless WAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Month on Monday (Nov. 3).

Joli, a native of Castellion, Spain, finished October with a 6-1 record in singles play. His only loss came at the D’Novo ITA All-American Championships. Following that loss he won six straight singles matches en route to winning the Wilson/ITA Mountain Region Championship. Joli also posted a 3-3 record in doubles during October. Two of those losses came against the No. 2 and No. 10 ranked teams in the country.

With his singles title at the regional championships, Joli has earned an automatic berth to the ITA National Individual Indoors this weekend (Nov. 5-8) in New Haven, C.T.
