General Info:
Through selected contact and non-contact drills our goal is to improve a young player’s performance in the game of football. We stress individual technique and football fundamentals so that our campers can return to their respective programs with an improved understanding. We will feature daily drills, scrimmaging and evening team pass competition.

TEAMS/ Individual campers:

We welcome all coaches who want to bring their teams for the week. Individual campers will be placed on a team of other individuals and will have a very productive team/individual experience. You will compete against other teams from the west coast in limited contact drills in the running and passing game. Coaches please provide balls for your teams.

Room Board:

All overnight campers will stay in Boise State University housing, two campers to a room. A standard bed pack is provided: pillow, pillowcase, blanket, sheets. Towels will be available for purchase. Campers should bring any additional toiletries personally.

Equipment:

All campers must have a complete set of approved gear: helmet, chinstrap, shoulder pads, football pants, kneepads, thigh pads, tailbone pad, mouthpiece, and jersey. Our sessions will be on the grass and the artificial grass surface so cleats are preferable. Campers should bring socks, jocks, t-shirts, and some shorts. You can also bring your football if you prefer, be sure to write your name on it visibly. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt.

We do have a limited amount of equipment that can be rented for $50 for the week. It will be available to those who indicate the need to rent on the registration card on the first-come, first-served basis. Individual pieces of equipment can be rented at a reduced cost. Indicate what you will need to rent on the application form.

Transportation:

Please fill out the following form ONLY if you need transportation to and/or from the Boise Airport. Campers will be picked up/taken back by a BSU Staff Member of Coach. All the following information must be filled out and e-mailed back to vtuivai@boisestate.edu before June 12th.

Cost:

Overnight campers: $295—includes all meals, lodging, and quality instruction. There will be a $30 charge if the dorm keys are lost at the time of checkout. Day Campers: $185 (includes lunch only, dinner can be purchased for an additional $40 at the time of check in.) All campers will also receive a 2009 Boise State Football Camp shirt.

Individual Registration:

Registration deadline is June 11^th. Campers can register online at www.broncosports.com or mail the registration form along with the medical form. We will not be accepting deposits any longer.

Team Registration:

Coaches should register all campers at the same time in order to receive the group rate—contact camp director Viliami Tuivai for specific instructions. Please make photocopies of the registration and medical forms for your team. We are requesting an anticipated team camp roster by June 6^th for accommodation purposes. Coaches should contact Viliami Tuivai for rooming list for that declares preferred roommates for teams.

Registration/Check-in:

Registration and check-in will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Caven-Williams Indoor complex on Saturday June 13^th.

June 17th: All players will be off the field by 11:30 AM (please schedule flights accordingly)

Camp will conclude daily with controlled scrimmages between predetermined opponents.

There will be a camp store available during non-practice hours to purchase snack food, drinks, and Boise State memorabilia.

Pizza orders will be taken following the afternoon practice for delivery following the Passing League session—no deliveries will be allowed after curfew.

Staff and Facilities:

The Boise State football staff actively coaches all campers in a series of individual drills each practice.

We will utilize the state of the art Caven-Williams Indoor Facility, Bronco Stadium and the varsity weight room.

Players and coaches will meet in the Boise State Team Room and athletes will have access to the training room.

Eligibility/Medical information:

Campers must be between the ages of those entering ninth grade and seniors-to-be in high school. We will match campers against others by age and their coaches’ discretion.

Campers must have their own medical insurance to attend camp. Please fill out the medical information completely with online registration or with this brochure. Campers are also required to bring a photocopy of their Medical Card the day of camp check-in for our records. Certified athletic trainers are in attendance at every practice and state of the art training facilities are available to treat all injuries.

You must have a completed medical card on file before you will be allowed to practice—there will be no exceptions.
