Finished season with 14 blocks and 16 steals.  Started eight of 16 conference games, averaging 4.0 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, while making 71.1 percent of shots ... Scored in double digits twice with 12 points against Colorado School of Mines and 11 at UNLV ... Grabbed double-digit rebounds three times with 10 against Colorado School of Mines, and 11 each against BYU and UNLV ... Had two double-doubles (points-rebounds) with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Colorado School of Mines and 11 points and 11 rebounds at UNLV.

Best rebounding game came versus Utah when he grabbed five rebounds ... Played in eight conference games, starting two. 

HIGH SCHOOL - A 2005 graduate of Woodcreek High School in Sacramento, Calif.... Earned all-state and all-city honors in basketball his senior year ... Also earned All-Sierra Foothill League honors in both basketball and football as a senior ... During senior season, averaged 19.2 points and 11.0 rebounds per game as Woodcreek High School advanced to the second round of the state playoffs ... Was elected a team captain his junior season ...  In the summer of 2004, prior to senior season, played in one of the most prestigious summer tournaments in the country--"The Big Time Tournament" sponsored by Reebok in Las Vegas, Nev. ... That summer event is the largest in the country and features teams from coast to coast ... A total of 336 teams and over 3,500 players competed in the 2004 event ... While playing for the Basketballtown Pharaohs' from Northern California at "The Big Time Tournament", Okoye was selected the Outstanding Player in his division, one of only five players to earn that honor in '04, an he earned all-tournament honors ... As a junior at Woodcreek High School, averaged 9.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game during the 2003-2004 season, earning All-Sierra Foothill Conference honors ... High school coach was Paul Hayes.
