COLLEGE – (2006) Winner of the Strength “Iron Bronco” Award...Started all 12 regular season games at safety after playing cornerback his first four seasons at Boise State...Finished with 33 tackles (23 solo), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and three pass breakups...Had a season-high six tackles at New Mexico State and at San Jose State...Finished with four tackles against Hawaii and Idaho...Made three tackles against Fresno State and Louisiana Tech, two tackles against Oregon State, Utah and Utah State and one tackle against Sacramento State...Forced a fumble against Hawaii and picked off a pass at Utah... (2005) Started all 13 games at cornerback and was sixth on the team in tackles and first in pass breakups...Finished with 50 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception and 13 pass breakups...Had a season-high seven tackles at Oregon State, including five solo tackles...Finished with six tackles against both Bowling Green and Portland State...Had five tackles at Georgia and four tackles at Utah State...Interception came at Fresno State...Had three pass breakups at Louisiana Tech and two breakups against Bowling Green, Hawai’i and Nevada...(2004) Started all 12 Boise State games at cornerback...Finished with a team-high five interceptions...Finished first in the WAC and 16th in the nation with 0.42 interceptions per game...Fifth in passes defended in the WAC with 1.08 per game...Finished fourth on the team with 53 tackles, while also having 2.5 tackles for loss...Had a season-high eight tackles in the season finale at Nevada...Had seven tackles against both Louisiana Tech and BYU...Totaled six tackles against Oregon State, and five against San Jose State, Hawai’i and Louisville in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl...Picked off two passes at UTEP, while getting one against San Jose State, one against Louisiana Tech and one against Louisville...Blocked a potential game-winning field goal by San Jose State in the final seconds of regulation and was named WAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his effort...(2003) Third cornerback and special teams player for the Broncos...Finished the season with 20 tackles, including one for a loss, and an interception...Had a season-best five tackles and an interception against UTEP...Had four tackles against San Jose State...Had three solo tackles at SMU...Tackle for loss came at Louisiana Tech...Also set a school record in the vertical jump leaping 41.5 inches in the fall of 2004...(2002) Redshirted during the 2002 season, his first with the Bronco program. HIGH SCHOOL - An outstanding football and track athlete at Rancho Cucamonga High School...As a senior in 2001 passed for over 700 yards, while rushing for 554 yards and scoring 10 touchdowns...Named the offensive player of the year in the Mt. Baldy League while leading his team to the championship and advancing to the second round of the playoffs...He also received first-team All-Inland Valley and All-CIF Division 2 honors...As a junior in 2000 he earned first-team all-league honors...In track and field, Alexander set the school’s high jump record at 6-6...He was the league champion in 2000, and is a two-time CIF finalist in the high jump...A member of the school’s Honor Roll, and was named Mt.
