| Fan Fiesta Updates For Jan. 23: Doors Open At 1:30 PM | |||||||

Taco Bell Arena will be the
site of Saturday’s “Fan Fiesta for Bronco Nation” to
recognize the Boise State football team and its fans following its perfect
14-0 season. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. with the official celebration beginning
at 3 p.m. Admission is free with no ticket required.
Free parking is available in
the east stadium lot and south campus lots, including the Lincoln Garage
with shuttles to Taco Bell Arena. The “Fan Fiesta” will not include
an autograph session due to a women’s basketball game that evening.
Spectators are invited to attend the 7 p.m. game against Hawaii at no
charge. Gov. C.L.”Butch” Otter
and City of Boise Mayor David Bieter are expected to join the celebration.
Representatives from the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, including Chairman of
the Board Alan Young and President John Junker, will make an official
presentation of the 2010 Fiesta Bowl championship trophy. Boise State
President Bob Kustra, WAC Commissioner Karl Benson and Athletics Director
Gene Bleymaier also will participate in the festivities. National Coach of the Year
Chris Petersen and select players will address the crowd, with the coaching
staff and team on hand at the event. The Bronco players and coaches
will be involved in numerous entertainment and fan interaction activities. The show will feature video
highlights and music and dancing from the Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching
Band and drum corps, Harvey Neef Maneline Dancers and Boise State cheerleaders. |
