Christina Van Tol is in her second stint at Boise State, and currently serves as the Broncos’ senior associate athletic director for internal operations and senior woman administrator. She also served as Boise State’s senior associate athletic director for student services and SWA from 1998-2003.

After leaving Boise State she worked as an assistant athletic director for compliance/student services and SWA at the University of Portland.

In her current role, Van Tol serves as the sport administrator for gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, women’s basketball and women’s tennis. She also oversees human resources, Olympic strength & conditioning, academics, athletic training and video for the Broncos.

Van Tol, the liaison for athletics with campus counseling, student affair and the Title IX office, oversees Title IX, gender equity and student welfare for the department.

She is also a member of the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Board of Directors.

Van Tol began her career in athletics at Gonzaga University where she was the academic coordinator from 1992-96, and was named SWA during her final year at the University. Before joining Boise State in 1998, she was the director of athletic development at Treasure Valley Community College.

Van Tol earned a bachelor's degree in public relations from Gonzaga University, where she graduated summa cum laude in 1993. She also holds a master's degree in physical education and athletic administration, earned from Gonzaga in 1995.

Christina and her husband Gary have four children - Gehrig, Amaia, Peyton and Gibson.
