Christina Van Tol is in her second stint as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Student Services and the Senior Woman Administrator for Boise State Athletics.
She served in the same role for the Broncos from 1998 through 2003.After leaving Boise State she worked as an Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance/Student Services and the Senior Woman Administrator at University of Portland.
In her current position Van Tol oversees all aspects of Student Services and Human Resources. Her duties encompass oversight of the human resources, academic advising, athletic training, and strength and conditioning staffs as well as the BroncoLife program. She also serves as the sport administrator for women's basketball, men's and women's tennis, gymnastics, softball and swimming and diving.
Van Tol began her career in athletics at Gonzaga University where she was the academic coordinator from 1992 through 1996 and was named the Senior Woman Administrator during her final year at the University. Before joining Boise State University in 1998 she was the Director of Athletic Development at Treasure Valley Community College.
Van Tol earned a bachelor's degree in public relations from Gonzaga University where she graduated summa cum laude in 1993 and a master's degree in physical education and athletic administration, also from Gonzaga in 1995.
Christina and her husband Gary have four children; Gehrig, Amaia, Peyton and Gibson.
