Patti Bantam is in her 26th year working in the Bronco athletic department, and her 31st year as a staff member at Boise State University. Bantam is the events and operations assistant in the Stueckle Sky Center. Bantam was previously the management asst to the Boise State Director of Athletics Gene Bleymaier. She became Bleymaier's assistant in May of 2002, after working in the football department for 18 years. Her duties as the events and operations assistant include the scheduling of tours, booking reservations in the Stueckle Sky Center, and assisting with the overall operations of the facility. Bantam joined the athletic staff in June of 1984 as a secretary and office coordinator in the football department. At the beginning of the 1993-94 athletic season, the duties of office coordinator for the Bronco men's and women's track and field teams were added to her responsibilities. In 1996 and 1998 Bantam again accepted more duties within the athletic department serving as the office coordinator for the wrestling and men's golf programs, respectively. Along with her responsibilities in the athletic department, Bantam has also worked on the organization of NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Boise State, and with the game management of NCAA Division I Men's National Basketball Tournaments held at Boise State. A 1976 graduate of Capital High School in Boise, Bantam began her service at Boise State in September of 1978.She worked at the university library in the serials department before moving to the athletic department. Bantam has four children -- a step daughter, Trista, and three sons, Josh , twins Kyler and Kalder and two granddaughters, Riley and Sydney.
