2017-18: CROSS COUNTRY- Redshirt . . . INDOOR-  Took 20th in the 3,000m at the Mountain West Championship, running 10:07.92 (Feb. 22-24) . . . Ran a new personal best in 9:45.88 in the 3,000m at the 2018 Husky Classic (Feb. 9-10) . . . Made her Boise State debut at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13), running the 1,200m leg of the Boise State ‘Gray’ DMR. Also ran the mile that weekend, finishing fourth in 5:09.77 . . . Ran the 3,000m at the UW Invitational, taking third in her heat in 9:52.34 (Jan. 26-27)

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Malia Pivec has consistently found success both in cross country and on the track in the 3,200m in the Washington prep ranks. Enjoyed a nice senior season by taking fifth in the 1,600m and third in the 3,200m at the 2017 Washington 3A Track and Field State Championships. She began her final high school season with a sixth-place performance at the 2017 Washington 3A Cross Country Championships.
