Broncos Split to Four Meets on Busy Weekend

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State track and field program splits four ways this weekend to compete at the Mt. SAC Relays (April 18-20) in Walnut, Calif., the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 19) in Azusa, Calif., the Oregon Relays (April 19-20) in Eugene, Ore., and the NNU Invitational (April 20) in Nampa, Idaho.

► Nation's Best - Seven Broncos rank amongst the nation's top-50 in their respective events this week according to TFRRS.org. Jordin Andrade holds the highest rank, sitting at No. 7 in the 400-meter hurdles. Matt Post sits in 11th in the hammer throw, while Daveon Collins and Zach Wiles rank 13th in the 200-meters and 3000-meter steeplechase, respectively. Alyssa Osai leads the women with a No. 27 spot in the hammer throw, while Emma Bates sits at 35th in the 1500-meters and Marisa VanderMalle at 44th in the 3000-meter steeplechase.

► Leaders of the Pack -
 Six Broncos hold Mountain West leading marks this week, including Andrade and Collins who each lead in two events. Andrade leads in the 400-meters and 400-meter hurdles, while Collins leads the league in the 100-meters and 200-meters. VanderMalle and Wiles lead in the women's and men's 3000-meter steeplechase, while Osai and Post lead in the hammer throws.

MT. SAC RELAYS (April 13, 18, 19 & 20)
Nearly 30 Broncos will travel to compete in the 55th Mt. SAC Relays hosted by Mt. San Antonio College at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. The Mt. Twelve Broncos are slated to compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational Friday, April 19, including a handful of athletes who are in the area for the Mt. SAC Relays as well. The Bryan Clay Invitational will take place at Cougar Athletic Stadium on Azusa Pacific's East Campus in Azusa, Calif. Twenty-one Broncos will head east to Eugene, Ore., to compete in the Oregon Relays April 19-20 at the historic Hayward Field.
