BOISE, Idaho –
The Boise State track and field teams will open the season with the Jackson’s Open, Dec. 9, at Jacksons Indoor Track in the Ford Idaho Center.

WHEN: The first event will be the men’s high jump, beginning at 9 a.m. (MT). Running events will begin with the 60m dash preliminary heats for the women at 11 a.m. In total, 12 field events and 20 running events will be contested, with a 45-minute break beginning at 11:45 a.m.

WHO: The Broncos will be joined by athletes from Central Washington, College of Idaho, Multnomah, Northwest Nazarene, St. Martin’s, San Jose State and Utah

TICKETS AND PARKING: Tickets are $5 for adults. They are $3 for students with their ID cards, kids 6-12 years old and seniors who are 60 or older. Kids 5 and under get in free, and parking is also free.

DIRECTIONS TO THE FORD IDAHO CENTER: The Idaho Center sits on the north side of East Franklin Road, between Idaho Center Blvd. and Star Road, approximately one-half mile north of Interstate 84. If coming from I-84, take Exit 38 and go north approximately one-half mile to the light (E. Franklin Rd.). Go right at the light and continue approximately one-half mile and turn left on Equine Drive. Continue another one-quarter mile and the building will be on the right.
