BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State football team will hold its annual Blue and Orange Spring Game Saturday (April 12), at 5 p.m., at Bronco Stadium. Tickets are $10, and can be purchased online HERE or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at (208) 426-4737.

The Bronco Stadium gates will open at 4 p.m., and seating will be open in the lower east and west sides, and in the south end zone. Fans can enter the stadium at entrances A, B, D and N.

Players will begin heading to the field around 4:45 for warm-ups and pre-game drills, and the game is scheduled to begin at roughly 5:20 p.m.

The teams will be split up into two groups - Boise State and Broncos. The Boise State team will consist of the No. 1 offense and the No. 1 defense, and the Broncos team will consist of the No. 2 offense and the No. 2 defense. In the second half, the third team will mix in with the second team, and the fourth team will mix with the first team.

The Boise State team will be going toward the north end zone, while the Broncos will be going toward the south end zone.

The offense will be in blue jerseys, and the defense will be in orange jerseys.

The game format will include 10-minute running quarters, though that could drop to eight minutes in the second half. The Broncos will head back into the locker room for a 10-minute halftime.

In addition to the Spring Game, there will be several activities going on around Bronco Stadium.

Optimist Youth Football and Cheerleading sign-ups will take place at the Caven-Williams Sports Complex from 1-5 p.m. There will be a special Youth Experience for those participating from 1-2:20 p.m. on The Blue with current members of the Boise State football team.

The Bronco Family Fest presented by Milk Victory will be held from 3-5 p.m. in the Ford Fan Zone, which is located on the Allen Noble Hall of Fame Plaza at the southwest corner of Bronco Stadium. Here, fans can complete the Bronco Fit program and earn a free ticket to the Spring Game (for kids 12-and-under), participate in actual practice drills with former Bronco football greats, get pictures taken with Buster Bronco and Boise State cheerleaders and meet 2x Olympic Gold Medalist Kristin Armstrong.

Fans can also measure their stats at the St. Luke's Men's Health Mini-Combine, Hopscotch for the Gold with FitOne, participate in social media contests throughout the day and meet Bronco Girl and her horse.

Additionally, the first 5,000 fans will receive a 2014 schedule poster.
