BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State football team will face Oklahoma State in a home-and-home series beginning in 2018, the schools announced Friday.

The series marks the Broncos' first regular-season games against a school from the Big 12 Conference.

The Broncos will travel to Stillwater, Okla., Sept. 15, 2018. Oklahoma State will make its return trip to Boise, Sept. 18, 2021.

The schools will exchange a guarantee of $400,000.

"We're excited about the opportunity to bring Oklahoma State to Bronco Stadium," Boise State Director of Athletics Mark Coyle said. "Boise State has proven it will play high-level competition, but our goal is to continue to schedule home-and-home series, so Bronco Nation has the opportunity to see these games in Boise."

The Broncos have also recently announced home-and-home series with Virginia (2015 and 2017) and Florida State (2019 and 2020) of the Atlantic Coast Conference, and Connecticut (2014 and 2018) of the American Athletic Conference.

In Boise State's only previous meetings against Big 12 schools, the Broncos defeated Iowa State 34-16 in the 2002 Humanitarian Bowl, and knocked off Oklahoma 43-42 in overtime at the 2007 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

Boise State and TCU split the four games played between the schools prior to the Horned Frogs joining the Big 12.

Boise State boasts the nation's best record since 1997 with an overall mark of 168-35 (.828), and the Broncos' home record of 79-4 (.952) since 2000 is also a national best.
