BOISE, Idaho - The 2014 Boise State Youth Football Camp is scheduled for June 9-11, with an added bonus this year for camp participants.

"This will be the first time our current players have had the ability to coach up our little Bronco stars," head coach Bryan Harsin said. "We think campers will have a ton of fun with our guys, while also learning great football skills from the players they watch every week."

In addition to 20-25 Bronco upperclassmen, Coach Harsin and the entire Bronco coaching staff will be on hand throughout the camp. Each session features offense, defense and special teams skill development, plus daily Bronco Ball round robin games.

The non-contact camp runs from 8 a.m.-noon each day, and is open to boys and girls aged 6-13 years old. Boise State will utilize Bronco Stadium, the Caven-Williams Sports Complex and the Intramural Grass Field on campus, and will split campers into three age groups (6-7, 8-10 and 11-13).

The cost of the camp is $150, with participants receiving a Boise State football camp t-shirt, an exclusive Bronco camp football and other daily camp giveaways. The final day also features a campers-only autograph and photo session with Coach Harsin, Bronco coaches and players.

"This camp is designed to teach basic football fundamentals and is right for kids who have several years of football experience, or are just beginning to play the sport," added Harsin. "Our staff and players have a tremendous passion for the game, and have a lot of fun on the field. We want to pass that love of the game on to all the kids who can attend."

The camp is filling up fast, and there are less than 200 spots remaining. Online registration is available HERE. For questions or additional information, contact football camps director Brad Larrondo at blarron@boisestate.edu.

The youth football camp is one of dozens of sports camps organized and put on by Boise State Athletics. Men's and women's basketball, soccer, volleyball, swimming and diving, wrestling, gymnastics, softball and cheer and dance all will hold camps and clinics in June or July.
