BOISE, Idaho - Eight members of the Boise State football team were named to the Athlon Sports Preseason All-Mountain West Team, the magazine announced Wednesday.

Included were first-team honorees Charles Leno, Jr., a redshirt senior offensive tackle, and Demarcus Lawrence, a redshirt junior defensive end.

Redshirt sophomore running back Jay Ajayi, redshirt junior wide receiver Matt Miller and redshirt senior center Matt Paradis each garnered second-team preseason honors offensively, while redshirt senior defensive tackle Ricky Tjong-A-Tjoe and redshirt junior safety Jeremy Ioane were named second-team preseason all-league on defense.

Gabe Linehan, a redshirt senior tight end, was named to the preseason all-league third team.

Earlier this summer Athlon Sports ranked the Broncos No. 11 in the magazine's preseason top 25, and predicted Boise State would win the Mountain Division en route to capturing the inaugural Mountain West Championship game.
