Broncos In The NFL: Week 9

BOISE, Idaho - Jay Ajayi, traded midweek from Miami to the Philadelphia Eagles, made an immediate impact for his new team, running for 77 yards and his first touchdown of the campaign in the Eagles' 51-23 Week 9 victory over Denver.

Entering Week 9 there were 21 former Broncos under contract with NFL clubs, with 14 on active 53-man rosters. Linebacker Shea McClellin (New England Patriots), safeties Chanceller James (San Francisco 49ers) and Jeron Johnson (Jacksonville Jaguars), and defensive tackle Billy Winn (Denver Broncos) will spend the season on injured reserve after suffering season-ending injuries during the preseason. Three more Broncos, offensive lineman Travis Averill (Cleveland Browns), running back Jeremy McNichols (San Francisco 49ers), and quarterback Kellen Moore (Dallas Cowboys) are currently on the practice squads of their respective teams.

Here's how the Bronco alumni fared in Week 9:

Jay Ajayi, RB (Philadelphia Eagles)
Ajayi, acquired by the Eagles early in the week for a fourth-round draft choice, carried eight times for 77 yards, including a 46-yard touchdown run, in Sunday's 51-23 victory over Denver.

Kamalei Correa, LB (Baltimore Ravens)
Correa saw action in Baltimore's 23-20 loss to Tennessee, but did not record a stat.

Tyrone Crawford, DE (Dallas Cowboys)
Crawford started at defensive tackle in Dallas' 28-17 victory over Kansas City, but did not record a stat.

Donte Deayon, CB (New York Giants)
Deayon was inactive for the Giants' 51-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams Sunday.

George Iloka, S (Cincinnati Bengals)
Iloka started at free safety for Cincinnati Sunday and made seven tackles in the Bengals' 23-7 loss to Jacksonville.

DeMarcus Lawrence, DE (Dallas Cowboys)
Lawrence started at defensive end in Sunday's 28-17 win over Kansas City, assisting on a pair of tackles.

Charles Leno, Jr., OT (Chicago Bears)
Leno and the Bears were on a bye in Week 9.

Doug Martin, RB (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
Martin started at running back Sunday for Tampa Bay, rushing for just seven yards on eight carries in the Bucs' 30-10 loss to New Orleans.

Rees Odhiambo, G (Seattle Seahawks)
Odhiambo was inactive for Seattle's 17-14 loss to Washington Sunday.

Matt Paradis - C - (Denver Broncos)
Paradis started at center for Denver in the Broncos' 51-23 loss at Philadelphia.

Orlando Scandrick, CB (Dallas Cowboys)
Scandrick started at cornerback in Dallas' 28-17 victory over Kansas City, making five tackles (three solo).

Jamar Taylor, S (Cleveland Browns)
Taylor and the Browns were on a bye in Week 9.

Darian Thompson, S (New York Giants)
Thompson started at free safety in New York's 51-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, making three solo tackles.

Tanner Vallejo, LB (Buffalo Bills)
Vallejo assisted on a tackle on special teams in Buffalo's 34-21 loss to the Jets Sunday.
