France Finishes in Top 10 at MW

France is just the third Bronco to finish in the top 10 at the MW Championships.

His second-round score was tied for the lowest of the day.

SENIOR (2016-17): Competed at five tournaments during the season, four with the team, and one (PING Cougar Classic) as an individual...began season as Boise State's top finisher at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational (Sept. 10-11) with a three-round total of 72-75-76 (223, +7), good for T-26...finished tied for 41st at the Ogio Utah Invitational (Oct. 3-4), shooting 12-over...competed as an individual at the PING Cougar Classic (April 10-11).

JUNIOR (2015-16): Made five tournament appearances for the Broncos during the season, averaging 77.00 through 15 rounds...lowest round of the fall season came at the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 19-20), where he fired a 1-under 71 on the final 18 holes…also competed in the Kikkor Husky Invitational, Sept. 21-22...competed at three tournaments in the fall, with his top finish coming at the Mountain West Championships (April 22-24), where he took T-39 with a three-round total of 75-74-74 (223, +7).

SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Made 10 appearances during the season, averaging 75.07 through 30 rounds...best finish of the season came at the Redhawk Invitational (April 6-7), hosted at Chambers Bay, site of the 2015 U.S. Open...finished tied for 27th at the event with a three-round total of 226 (76-73-77, +16)...final-round 3-under 69 at the Desert Shootout (March 19-21) was his lowest score of the season, and the lowest in relation to par of his career...was one of five rounds of par-or-better on the year.

FRESHMAN (2013-14): Competed in each of the Broncos' 11 tournaments during his collegiate debut...averaged 75.16 strokes through 32 rounds, the fourth-best scoring average on the team...registered his first-career top-25 finish at the Sacramento State Invitational (March 10-11)...finished tied for 20th at the event with a three-round total of 222 (78-73-71, +6)...fired a season-best 2-under 69 in the final round of the Utah Invitational (Oct. 7-8), helping to lead Boise State to tournament victory...the Broncos rallied from a six-stroke deficit entering the final round, ultimately winning the event by 10 - the largest margin of victory in more than 18 years...his three-round total of 221 (73-79-69; +8) at the Utah Invitational tied for his lowest of the season, and was matched at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational (73-76-72)...was 5-over-par at the Princeville, his lowest three-round score of the season in relation to par...named 2013-14 MW Scholar-Athlete...named to the 2014 Spring Academic All-MW Team.

Attended Cole Valley Christian, but competed for Centennial...was ranked in the top 150 nationally amongst 2013 graduates by Golfweek...finished second at the Idaho 5A state championships this in 2012, and was the 2011 Idaho Golf Association Junior Golfer of the Year...was a member of both the Junior Americas Cup and the Hogan Cup Idaho Teams in 2011 and 2012, and qualified for the 2011 and 2012 Callaway Junior World Golf Tournaments and the 2011 Big I National Junior Tournament...won the 2012 Magic Valley IGA/PGA Tournament, the 2011 Eagle Amateur Championship and the 2011 Whitetail Invitational, and finished in the top 10 during every IGA Juniors event from 2011-12.
