Travis in Top 25 After Second Round at El Macero Classic

EL MACERO, Calif. - Boise State junior Ty Travis is tied for 21st after the second round of the El Macero Classic, Saturday. Travis recorded a round of 74 (+2), including three birdies, to make his two-round total 149 (+5).

Boise State carded a team score of 303 (+15) at the par-72, 6,912-yard El Macero Country Club, remaining in 11th place with a two-day total of 615 (+39).

Freshman David Elliott finished three strokes back of the top 25, after firing a 75 (+3), making his two-day total 152 (+8).

Tournament co-host UC Davis is the only team under par after two rounds, and has the lead with a total of 562 (-14).

Sophomore Logan France (83-81--164, +20), sophomore Shane Allor (77-80--157, +13), and redshirt senior Jordan Skyles (85-74--159, +15) rounded out the scoring for the Broncos.

The final round is set to begin tomorrow with tee times at 8 a.m. (MT), and live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
