Broncos Make Final Road Trip of the Season

The men's tennis team will be fighting for MWC seeding against two conference opponents.

Redshirt Junior (2011-12) - Went 20-19 as a junior with a 14-12 dual match singles record...played in five different singles positions for the Broncos but received most of his time at the No. 6 spot where he finished 8-3...finished the season on a 7-2 run...garnered a 20-13 doubles record...15-9 in dual matches...primarily played with Andy Bettles (7-3) and Damian Hume (8-7)...named to All-Mountain West Doubles Team with partner Damian Hume.

Redshirt Sophomore (2010-11) - Sears proved to be a constant for Boise State throughout his first season of action playing primarily at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles...put together a doubles season with partner Damian Hume worthy of first-team All-Western Athletic Conference honors...also earned WAC All-Tournament in doubles...Sears and Hume were ranked by the ITA in six-consecutive polls...reached as high as a No. 36 ranking as a doubles team...finished the season with a 16-14 overall doubles record, including a 13-10 dual doubles record and a 5-1 record against WAC opponents...played to a 15-20 overall singles record on the season...went 10-14 in dual singles matches.

Sophomore (2009-10) - Redshirted.

Other - Was a grade three international doubles title winner...advanced to the finals of the International Tennis Federation championships in Turkey in singles and won in doubles play...held an ITF rank as high as 250 in his career...was selected to be a part of the David Lloyd traveling squad.
