Broncos Travel to BYU and Utah State

Boise State is coming off a win and now looks for success on the road at BYU before opening MW play Sunday at Utah State.


Did not play collegiately during the fall semester before transferring to Boise State in January of 2018.


HONORS: Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA)/California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) All-American in singles and doubles ... Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Co-Doubles Team of the Year - Note, Boise State teammate Maximilien Blancaneaux (Cypress) was on the other doubles team ... ITA/CCCAA Rookie of the Year.

HIGHLIGHTS: Played for Irvine Valley College (Calif.) where he finished the year ranked fifth in singles and in doubles by the ITA/CCCAA ... helped lead the Irvine Valley College Lasers to its third-straight CCCAA State Team Championship, third-straight Southern California Region Championship, fourth-consecutive Orange Empire Conference title and the program’s first undefeated campaign at 19-0 to extend the Lasers’ win streak to 35 straight ... the team finished ranked No. 1 in the final ITA/CCCAA rankings ... he help IVC to the CCCAA State Team Championship with a 6-1, 6-1 singles victory over American River’s Cody Duong to move the Lasers within one point of the win up 4-1 ... he advanced to the CCCAA State Singles Championship Tournament where he was seeded third, reached the quarterfinals with three-consecutive straight-set victories beginning with Tristan Shaw of San Diego Mesa 6-0, 6-1 in the round of 64, Andy Vang from American River 6-0, 6-1 in the round of 32 and Bruno Duarte of Cerritos 6-1, 6-3 to advance into the quarterfinals where he fell in a classic battle 7-6(4), 7-5 ... in doubles, while paired with Chris Politiek, he went 3-1 at the CCCAA Doubles State Championship to advance to the quarterfinals where he lost to future Boise State teammate Maximilien Blancaneaux and his partner 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (10-5) ... DeMulling and his doubles partner Politiek went undefeated during the year until their loss in the CCCAA State quarterfinals.


He is a native of Seattle, Wash., where he is a 2016 graduate of Highline High School ... placed third in the Washington State 3A Singles Championship in 2014.
