Junior (2011-12) - Qualified for the NCAA Tournament at 157 pounds after finishing second at the Pac-12 Championships...lost a 5-2 decision to Oregon State's RJ Pena in the championship...last two-consecutive bouts at the NCAA Championships to Josh Kreimier of Air Force and John Nicholson of Old Dominion...tallied a 22-8 record during the season with an 8-3 dual record...made his debut as a Bronco at the Cowboy Open where he won four-straight bouts to take the 157 title...also won the Reno Tournament of Champions...won five matches by fall and added one major decision to his season accomplishments.

Collegiate Career - Wrestled for two years at University of Nebraska Omaha under coach Mike Denney where he earned second and third place finishes the NCAA Division II Tournament...Ivanov was also a two-time Academic All-American during his time at UNO.

High School - Wrestled under coach Trevor Carritt at Lewis Central High School...placed third in the 2008 Iowa State Tournament at 119 pounds finishing his senior year with a 54-1 record and was ranked fifth in the nation at 119 pounds by Wrestling USA Magazine for Best 2008 High School Seniors...represented Team Iowa in the national meets in 2007 and 2008, where he was a double All-American at Junior Nationals, placing fifth in Greco Roman and fourth in freestyle.
