BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State wrestling team signed Colton Grossaint (West Valley City, Utah) to a National Letter of Intent, head coach Greg Randall announced Wednesday.

Grossaint, who will graduate from Kearns High School later this spring, will join the Broncos for the 2014-15 season at 197 pounds.

He lettered three times for head coach Fred Falcon, winning the state championship as both a junior and senior. He also won the regional championship three times, and concluded his prep career with a record of 139-22.

Included was a mark of 41-4 in his final campaign, a season in which he also finished fourth at the NHSCA National Championships. He also went 47-6 as a junior en route to capturing his first state title, and was 51-12 as a sophomore, finishing third at the state tournament.

Also a standout on the gridiron, Grossaint lettered four times in football, earning first-team all-region honors as a sophomore, junior and senior, and all-state honors as a junior.

Grossaint was a member of his school's Honor Roll every quarter, earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, and was a four-time member of the High Honor Roll (3.75 or higher).
