The Boise State women's basketball team defeated Utah State 94-55 Wednesday at Taco Bell Arena. The Broncos tied a school record with 15 3-pointers on way to another conference win to stay in the hunt for the top spot.
Boise State defeated New Mexico 86-65 Saturday at Taco Bell Arena. Brooke Pahukoa led the team with 20 points, while Shalen Shaw had the best performance of her career so far scoring 14 points and grabbing 9 rebounds.
Was not be eligible to play for the Broncos until Cal State Fullerton game (Dec. 29) per NCAA transfer rules ... played in 22 games.
During conference competition was ranked 12th in league for scoring (13.2 ppg) and rebounding (6.5 rpg), tied for second in steals (2.0 spg) and 12th in free throw percentage (.764).
