The Boise State Broncos defeated San Jose State 91-76 Tuesday night at Taco Bell Arena. Shalen Shaw led the team in points for the second game in a row and got her first career double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds, both career highs.

The Boise State Broncos women's basketball team dropped a home game for just the second time this season in a 74-60 loss Wednesday night at Taco Bell Arena. Brooke Pahukoa led the Broncos with 17 points while Camille Redmon dominated the glass with 14 rebounds.

  • STATISTICS (Notable Rankings): Record 95 points, 36 rebounds, 44 assists (5th team) and 12 steals ... averaged 2.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 11.6 minutes per game ... hit 41 percent from the floor, 42.9 percent from beyond the arc and 60 percent from the free-throw line.

  • First starter as a Bronco was against Long Beach State (Nov. 25) at the Great Alaska Shootout.
  • Career-high four rebounds at Southern Utah (Nov.21).
  • Tallied a season-high eight points at Idaho State (Dec. 4) in the Broncos 86-62 win on the road, also had a career high for assists with five.
  • Tied season-high for points with eight against Portland (Dec. 21) in Boise to help Broncos to a 94-58 victory.

  • STATISTICS (Notable Rankings): Accumulated 108 points, 42 rebounds, 37 assists (5th team) and 17 steals ... averaged 3.4 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.5 steals and 13.5 minutes per game ... hit 35.2 percent from the floor, 23.3 percent from beyond the arc and 56.4 percent from the free-throw line.
  • Played in every game as a true freshman in a reserve guard role.
  • Recorded two games in double figure points ... led team in scoring once, in assists four times and steals on three occasions.
  • First action for Boise State was in the season opener against Southern Utah (Nov. 8) recording eight points, three rebounds, one assists and one steal in 18 minutes.
  • Tallied a team and career-high 18 points at San Diego State (Feb. 5) on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor and 2-of-5 from behind the arc.
  • Scored 12 points versus Utah Valley (Dec. 5) going 5-of-8 from floor with two 3-pointers in Broncos’ 63-60 victory.
  • Netted eight points on two occasions against Southern Utah (Nov. 8) in the season opener and versus San Francisco (Dec. 14) powered by a season-best 5-of-5 shooting from the free-throw line.
  • Grabbed a season-high three rebounds on five occasions the last coming at UNLV (Feb. 22).
  • Dished out a career-high five assists in Boise State’s WBI second-round loss at Stephen F. Austin (March 22).

  • A 2013 graduate of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nev. ... a three-year starter at point guard ... four-year member of the varsity team at BGHS ... high school coach was Sheryl Kimpotich.
