Play Suspended Due to Darkness

FRESNO, Calif. –
Play at the Fresno State Classic was suspended due to darkness in the midst of the second round, Monday. The start of the tournament was delayed due to frost in the morning, altering the schedule for the first two rounds of the tournament.

Six groups still need to complete the second round, and they will begin play at 8:30 a.m. (MT). The third round is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. (MT), but both times are pending weather in the morning.

Freshman Alejandra Lobelo leads the Broncos in a tie for 21st, but her group was only able to make it through 15 holes of the second round. Lexi Perry shot 9-over on the day, but only made it through 12 holes, as did Nicole Suppelsa (+10).

Valentine Lacaze (+14) and Kinsley Bonfilio (+15) were able to complete the second round of the tournament.

The Broncos are in ninth in the team standings, shooting +35.
