Pless and Harper in top 25 after two rounds.

ST. GOERGE, Utah - Sammie Pless and Lori Harper both finished in the top 25 Monday afternoon to lead the Boise State women's golf team after two rounds of the BYU at Entrada Classic. Pless shot a 154 (+10) to tie for 23rd after two rounds, while Harper is tied for 25th tallying a two-round score of 155 (+11). Boise State finds itself in a tie for seventh-place out of 15 teams after firing a team score of 623 (+47).

Pless, a freshman, recorded scores of 80 and 74 for a 10-over 154 at the par-72, 6015-yard Entrada course at Snow Canyon Club in St. George, Utah, finishing with a two-round total of 154 (+10). She will enter tomorrow's final round in a two-way tie for 23rd and 12 strokes behind Wisconsin's Kimberly Dinh who shot a 142 (-2).

Harper was close behind Pless firing a 77 and 78 this afternoon to finish with a 11-over 155, good for a seven-way tie for 25th. Samantha Martin and Hayley Young are tied with five others for 35th place after tallying scores of 13-over 157. McKenzie Ford rounded out the Boise State roster on the day carding a 167 (+23).

The Wisconsin Badgers finished the day on top of the team leaderboard with a 589 (+13) following the first two rounds of play. They hold an 11 stroke lead over second-place Minnesota (600, +24).

Boise State recorded a 318 (+30) on the first 18 holes, then rebounded with a solid 305 (+17) on the second round to pull into a tie for seventh place with Mountain West rival Wyoming. The Broncos are nine strokes out of fifth and seven out of sixth heading into the final session tomorrow morning.

The BYU at Entrada Classic wraps-up Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
