Day One Results 

LINCOLN, Neb. -- 
A trio of Bronco freshmen responded well to poor weather conditions to lead the Boise State women's golf team at the conclusion of the first round of the Chip-N Club Invitational, Sunday.

After the start of the tournament was delayed one hour, Lexi Perry shot 78 (+6) to lead the Broncos in a tie for 14th.

Nicole Suppelsa, making her Boise State debut, is a stroke back of Perry in a tie for 17th. Suppelsa shot 79 (+7) and is tied for 10th in the field in par-5 scoring (4.75).

Rounding out the freshmen trio is Alejandra Lobelo in a tie for 26th (81, +9).

Ivane Helias (85, +13) and Valentine Lacaze (86, +14) round out the scoring for the Broncos.

Boise State is sixth in the team standings. The second round will begin with tee times scheduled for 7:30 a.m. (MT). Live results will be provided by golfstat.com.
