Bronco Women Look to Continue Spring Success

BOISE – The Boise State women’s golf team, fresh off its fourth top-five finish of the season, will travel to St. George, Utah, to compete in the 2013 BYU at Entrada Classic, March 18-19.

The three-round, two-day event will be held at the Entrada at Snow Canton Country Club, a par-72, 6,015-yard track. The 15-team field will play 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday, with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start each day.

Joining the Broncos in the field will be tournament-host BYU, Cal State Fullerton, Dixie State, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico State, North Texas, Oral Roberts, Southern Utah, Utah Valley, Weber State, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Boise State is coming off back-to-back top-five finishes to start its spring season, the third and fourth such efforts of the year. The total is the most since Boise State also finished in the top five four times in 2004-05.

Boise State’s freshmen trio of Pless, Martin and Ford is ranked 23rd in Golfstat’s most recent Freshman Class Impact Rankings, released March 11.
