No. 13 Broncos Set New Season-Opening Meet Scoring Record to Defeat Southern Utah

The Broncos shattered the previous record of 195.80 set in 2014.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Has appeared in all eight meets to-date as a part of the vault lineup...Set career-high marks of 9.800 in back-to-back meets, Feb. 2 at Utah State and Feb. 9 at San Jose State/Iowa State...Made her first-career appearance in the beam lineup on March 2 vs. Sacramento State. 

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: 
Bruden comes to Boise State as a successful level 10 gymnast coached by Dan Wiltenstein out of Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics in Paradise Valley, Ariz. A three-time Junior Olympics National qualifier, Bruden was outstanding at the 2016 JO National Championships where she tied for 12th place in the all-around after earning a 37.400. One of her best individual events – floor – produced the best result at JO’s, as she logged a top-10 finish after taking ninth place (9.45). She also won on floor at the 2016 Region 1 Championships and was second on vault. Bruden also was crowned the Arizona State All-Around Champion in 2016.
