Mountain View High School
BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's soccer head coach Jim Thomas announced, Wednesday, Baylee Blaser of Boise, Idaho signed a letter of intent to join the Broncos.
Blaser will join the Broncos from Mountain View High School in Boise where she was named to the All-Idaho Team consisting of the best 11 players in the state, as well as earning 5A Southern Idaho Conference first team honors for her performance during the 2012 season. Blaser played on the front line for Mountain View and contributed 14 goals and 10 assists as a senior, leading the Mavericks to a 6-4-4 record.
“We are excited to see what Baylee can do in our programming at all levels as she is a winger who can flat out take over a game,” said Thomas. “She has the capability to score and create a number of goals once she is able to grow and embrace the physical side of college soccer.”
At the club level, Blaser was a member of FC SuperNova Elite under Eric Simmonsen. Blaser and her teammates Hanna Frakes and Andie Hill, who also signed at Boise State, have won two National Championships and were quarterfinalists in the 2012 Surf Cup.
