Kelli Drobney Signs with Boise State

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's soccer head coach Jim Thomas announced, Wednesday, Kelli Drobney of Longmont, Colo., signed a letter of intent to join the Broncos.

A 2012 Legacy High School graduate, Drobney joins the Boise State roster as a four-time all-conference honoree. Drobney started her high school career at Silver Creek High School where she helped her team reach the semifinals as a freshman and sophomore. During her junior and senior seasons at Legacy, the team advanced to second round and quarterfinals, respectively. Drobney also earned all-conference honors on the hardwood during her freshman and sophomore seasons playing basketball at Silver Creek.

“Kelli is an explosive athlete over short distances who offers great technique in all skill sets,” said Thomas. “She has versatility to play in any one of the front six positions. We are extremely excited to get her ahead of the game training with us now.”

Drobney also played under Erik Bushey for the Colorado Rush club team. The Rush were three-peat Colorado Champions from 2008-2010. She also has Olympic Development Program experience from 2009-2011.
