COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- The Boise State women's soccer team was picked to finish fifth in the 2013 Mountain West Conference coaches' poll. The coaches voted San Diego State as the favorites to win the conference, garnering 99 points and nine first-place votes. New Mexico finished second with 86 points and tallied one first-place vote.

The Broncos garnered 61 points, finishing below UNLV and newcomer Utah State, who tied for third place with 77 points. Boise State was picked to finish sixth last season and ended the year tied for second with New Mexico. The Broncos have finished higher than predicted the past five of seven seasons.

Boise State will kick off the 2013 season on the road against Idaho State on Aug. 23 at 4 p.m.
