Highlights for game two versus Nevada

Boise State hit three home runs Friday, against Nevada but the Wolf Pack scored twice in the seventh to force extra innings and five times in the eighth to win 8-5.


Highlights from game one versus CSU

Boise State hosted Colorado State April 26, in the first game of an important Mountain West series. The game went to extra innings without either team scoring and the Broncos came out on top 3-2, with an unearned run in the ninth. Rebecca Patton struck out 10 in eight innings of work.


Highlights from game three versus SDSU

Boise State softball took on San Diego State April 21, in the rubber match of a three-game series. The Broncos jumped out to a 3-0 lead before SDSU battled back to tie the game. Once again Boise State came up with some seventh-inning magic, getting a walk-off home run from Tara Glover to win the game 5-3, and take the series two games to one.


Highlights from game one versus SDSU

Boise State defeated San Diego State 5-3 in the series opener April 20, at Dona Larsen Park. Sarah Barnes hit a two-out walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh for the victory. Barnes was 3-for-4 with two home runs in the game.

The Broncos and Aztecs squared off in a nationally-televised game for the second game of the series that would decide the Mountain West Champion. It ended up one of the best games in Boise State history.

Career Highlights: Played in 217 of Boise State's 220 games during her career, making 211 starts...left as career leader in hits (191), games played, games started, doubles (30) and walks (79)...career on-base percentage of .394 was the best by a four-year Bronco at time of graduation...second Bronco to score more than 100 runs (111)...second four-year Bronco to hit better than .300 for career (.306)...47 multi-hit games...finished career reaching base safely in final 24 games...2013 All-Mountain West...three-time academic all-conference.

Senior (2013): All-Mountain West...started all 52 games in the outfield...reached base safely in 47 of them...led the Mountain West with 34 walks drawn...led the Broncos and ranked fourth in the conference with a .466 on-base percentage...batted .342 for the season with 53 hits, including eight doubles and a career-high five home runs...scored a career-high 39 runs, which led the team and ranked fourth in the MW...ended season on a 24-game reached-base-safely streak...broke Boise State career records for hits, games played and games started...hit .355 during conference play with 22 hits and seven walks for a .420 on-base percentage while reaching safely in all 18 games...slugged .581 in MW games with five doubles and three home runs...drove in eight runs and scored 14...first-career multi-homer game came in 3-for-4 performance against No. 19/18 Tulsa; hit two home runs and drove in three as Boise State tied the Golden Hurricane 6-6 for first tie in program history...homered in consecutive at bats on the final two days of the season, including first inning on senior day...named to CollegeSportsMadness.com's All-MW Second Team.

Junior (2012): Played in 51 games, starting 48...hit .232 with 32 hits, including four doubles and three home runs...hit game-winning home run at San Diego State (May 5), going back-to-back with Allie Crump in the sixth inning...hit first-career grand slam against Howard (March 2)...drove in a career-high five runs against Seattle (March 22), including a three-run home run...put together a six-game hit streak during conference play (April 20-May 5)...seven multi-hit games...3-for-4 on stolen base attempts...one outfield assist against Texas A&M (May 12).

Sophomore (2011): Started all 53 games (45 in the outfield, eight at second base)...batted .322 with 56 hits on the season, finishing fourth on the team in batting average and second in hits...ranked second on the team in runs scored (35) and third in RBI (31)...hit eight doubles, one triple and four home runs...became second-fastest Bronco to 100 career hits and the first do so as a sophomore April 15 at Utah State...tied school record with four hits at Santa Clara (March 11)...established school record with four walks against Loyola Marymount (Feb. 12)...hit one of the Broncos' team-record six home runs against Seattle (March 5)...recorded 14 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games...was 5-for-7 on stolen base attempts...NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete...WAC All-Academic.

Freshman (2010): Played in all 61 games for the Broncos during her freshman year, including 58 starts...was third on the team with a .316 batting average and 50 hits...ranked second on the team with 10 doubles...also hit two homers while collecting 26 RBI and scoring 19 runs...was named WAC Hitter of the Week May 10 after she hit .800 in a three-game series at Nevada...ranked second on the team with 14 multi-hit games on the year...also had an eight-game hitting streak from April 30-May 13...hit .350 in WAC games while smashing six of her 10 doubles against conference opponents...swiped 12 bases in 13 attempts to rank third on the team...WAC All-Academic.

High School: Three-time All Tri-County Conference First Team member...named MVP of the Tri-County Conference after her senior year...junior year led the league with a .573 batting average...helped her team to a district championship during her junior season and a second-place finish her senior season...collected 96 runs, 125 hits and 48 stolen bases as a three-year varsity starter...legged out 10 triples in her high school career...went 33-7 in league play in her three years on the varsity squad, finishing second twice and capturing the league title once...bats left-handed and throws right-handed...studying general business.
