Boise State scored five times in the third inning to defeat Colorado State 5-2 April 27, at Dona Larsen Park. Lela Work and Kenzie Cole limited the Rams to three hits for the game. Jordan Kreiger was 2-for-2 with a homer and 2 RBI.
Boise State sophomore Kenzie Cole has become a key member of the Bronco pitching staff late in her sophomore season. Cole has taken on the role of closer for Boise State and is delivering.
Boise State softball took on San Diego State April 21, in the rubber match of a three-game series. The Broncos jumped out to a 3-0 lead before SDSU battled back to tie the game. Once again Boise State came up with some seventh-inning magic, getting a walk-off home run from Tara Glover to win the game 5-3, and take the series two games to one.
Boise State rallied in the seventh inning to force extras against San Diego State in game two of the conference series April 20, at Dona Larsen Park. The Aztecs prevailed 3-2 in eight innings on the strength of three solo home runs.

Sophomore (2013): Appeared in 26 games in the circle, including 12 starts with four complete games...pitched 102.1 innings with a 4.38 ERA, struck out 58 and walked 42...tallied a 7-8 record with one save...tossed first-career shutout against Utah State (March 3), allowing just three hits and one walk while matching a career high with seven strikeouts...appeared in 14 games out of the bullpen and in 40.1 innings held a 2.08 ERA with a .255 opponent batting average while going 5-0 with one save...as a starter was 2-8 with a 5.87 ERA in 62 innings and had a .322 batting average against...pitched in 13 of the 18 conference games (nine in relief and four starts), going 3-2 with a 2.48 ERA in 48 innings...pitched three innings of relief against Colorado State (April 27) with a hit batter as the lone blemish...pitched a career-high eight innings against Nevada (May 10), giving up four runs on six hits and three walks...during final 21 games of the season, appeared in 15 games with 53.2 inning pitched and amassed a 2.22 ERA...lowered season ERA from 6.76 to 4.38 during that stretch...Academic All-MW.
Freshman (2012):Made 12 appearances in the circle, including five starts...tallied a 5.71 ERA in 30.2 innings, walking 28 and striking out 26...opponents batted .281 against...tossed three complete games...went seven innings against Weber State (March 25) allowing two runs (both unearned) on five hits and three walks, while striking out six...first-career win came in a five-inning complete game against Howard (March 2), allowing one run on three hits with six strikeouts...made first-career start and pitched 3.2 innings against Cal Poly (Feb. 24) in a combined no-hitter with Aubray Zell...struck out two in one inning of relief against Alcorn State (March 9), teaming with Zell to set the school record for strikeouts in a game (16)...combined on two shutouts (Alcorn State, March 9; and Seattle, March 22)...threw 2.2 innings of scoreless relief at Colorado State (April 21).
