Broncos Win Both on Day One

Boise State softball picked up two victories on Friday at the DeMarini Classic in Las Vegas - a decisive 7-1 triumph over Weber State and a thrilling 2-1 walk-off win against Memphis

BOISE STATE CAREER
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2017): Picked up the win against UAB, starting and allowing just four hits and striking out three over four scoreless innings (Feb. 10)...picked up her second win after striking out two and allowing just one hit over 3.1 innings of relief against Charleston Southern (Feb. 24)...struck out four and did not give up an earned run over 4.2 innings despite taking the loss in a start against CSUN (March 3)...tossed her first no-hitter against Bryant, striking out four over a five-inning win (March 11)...picked up her fourth win, allowing just two runs on four hits over four innings against Colorado State (March 17).

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2016): Made 20 appearances and six starts, going 1-7 with a save and 22 strikeouts...struck out one over 1.1 innings of scoreless relief against Creighton (Feb. 11)...struck out a batter over two-thirds of an inning of scoreless relief against Bradley (Feb. 13)...tossed a scoreless inning of relief with a strikeout at No. 9/7 Washington (March 4)...went the distance in 6-5 loss to Texas Tech, striking out five (March 19)...allowed just one run on four hits over 3.1 innings of relief despite taking the loss at Colorado State (April 2)...picked up her first win at Boise State, tossing 2.2 innings of scoreless relief and striking out two in win over New Mexico (May 1)...worked a scoreless final inning at San Diego State to pick up the save (May 12).

SALT LAKE CC CAREER
Helped the Bruins to a 36-21 record and second-place finish in the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) in 2014 before having her 2015 campaign cut short due to injury...was 4-0 with a 2.21 ERA and 24 strikeouts over seven appearances (six starts) in 2015 before being sidelined.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Earned Region Most Valuable Player honors in 2012 and 2013 and was named Utah's Class 5A MVP in 2013...as a senior, went 23-4 with a 2.05 ERA in the circle while batting .424 with six home runs and 40 RBI at the plate to pace the Miners to a runner-up finish at the state tournament...went 16-1 in her debut as the Miner ace in 2012...helped lead Bingham to the 5A state title as a freshman.
