Boise State scored 10 times in the first three innings en route to a 10-2 win in five innings against Nevada, May 9, to open the series. Makenna Weir's bases-loaded double in the third broke the game open.
Boise State hosted Colorado State April 26, in the first game of an important Mountain West series. The game went to extra innings without either team scoring and the Broncos came out on top 3-2, with an unearned run in the ninth. Rebecca Patton struck out 10 in eight innings of work.
Boise State softball head coach Erin Thorpe and Sarah Barnes joined the crew at KBOI for Bronco Tuesday, April 24, to preview this weekend's series against Colorado State.
Boise State defeated San Diego State 5-3 in the series opener April 20, at Dona Larsen Park. Sarah Barnes hit a two-out walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh for the victory. Barnes was 3-for-4 with two home runs in the game.

Sophomore (2014): Appeared in 31 games, making 22 starts... ade 17 starts in the outfield, four at designated player and one at second base...made one appearance in the circle, tossing a shutout inning...batted .250 with over half of her hits (8-of-17) going for extra bases...hit three home runs with five doubles and drove in 12 runs...scored 13 runs...drew 16 walks and posted an on-base percentage of .406...doubled and scored a run in win over UTEP (Feb. 15)...hit a two-run, pinch-hit home run in 5-4 loss to Indiana (March 7)...hit her second homer of the year in a 2-for-3, two RBI performance in 6-4 win over Southern Utah (March 14)...had a two-hit day in 3-2 extra-inning win over Fresno State (March 21)...had back-to-back two-hit games, first hitting a home run and driving in two runs at Colorado State (March 29), then having a double among her two hits and batting in a pair against UNLV (April 4)...doubled in consecutive games at Nevada (April 11-12)...drove in a run against both San Jose State (April 18) and Utah State (April 22).
Freshman (2013): Appeared in 45 games, making 41 starts...started 22 games at second base, 14 in left field and five as the designated player, played one game at shortstop...also pitched in four games...batted .230 with 29 hits...tied for second on the team with five home runs, third-most by a Bronco freshman all-time...also had four doubles and drove in 18 runs...drew 14 walks for a .307 on-base percentage...stole one base...played in all 18 conference games, starting 17...slugged .439 in MW play, hitting three home runs and three doubles...tied school record with four hits against San Diego (Feb. 24), going 4-for-4 with four RBI, including a three-run home run...second Bronco freshman with a four-hit game and second Bronco to have a four-hit game include a home run...homered twice in the series opener against San Diego State (April 20), including three-run, walk-off home run with two outs in the seventh...just the second walk-off home run while trailing in school history...hit second of back-to-back home runs with fellow freshman Ashley Palmer against Northwestern (Feb. 9), becoming first two Broncos to homer for their first-career hit...six multi-hit games...in the circle pitched 6.2 innings, all in relief, and did not record a decision...held a 6.30 ERA while allowing seven hits and issuing nine walks...made pitching debut at No. 4/4 Arizona State (Feb. 10), logging two-thirds of an inning without allowing a run...final appearance came at Southern Utah (March 26) in one inning of scoreless relief, giving up one walk and no hits.
