Boise State scored 135 points on Wednesday to sit in fourth place after one day at the Mountain West Championships at San Antonio.


MW Title Defense Begins

Boise State swimming and diving are in San Antonio, Texas, this Wednesday through Saturday to defend their 2017 MW Championship.

    SOPHOMORE (2016-17): NCAA All-American honorable mention (200 Free Relay)...won four Mountain West titles (100 back, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay) and earned five All-Mountain West honors...named Mountain West Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career on Jan. 17...picked up three wins at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational (Oct. 7-8), being part of winning 200 medley (1:43.22) and 400 medley relays (3:46.25) in addition to a victory in the 100 back (56.14)...also took third with the 200 free relay "B" team (1:36.07) and 200 back (2:03.00), and tied for fifth in the 50 free (24.19)...part of victorious 200 free relay (1:29.58) at Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 17-19), along with finishing third with the 200 medley relay (1:39.67), fourth in the 100 back (54.09), fifth in the 200 back (1:59.25) and 10th in the 50 free (23.14), which included winning a swim-off in 22.90...swept the 100 and 200 backs and was part of the winning 200 medley relay against Utah (Dec. 3)...picked up wins in the 800 medley relay and 100 back at the UCSD Invitational (Jan. 2)...finished second with 200 medley relay, third with 400 free relay, fourth in 100 back against UCLA, Kansas (Jan. 6)...captured three wins, taking the 200 medley relay, 400 free relay and 100 back, along with a third-place finish in the 100 fly at Idaho (Jan. 14)...won the 100 back at Wyoming (Jan. 20)...part of winning 200 free relay against Denver, Colorado Mesa (Jan. 21), also finished second with 400 medley relay and in 100 back...part of winning 200 medley relay, finished second in 100 back, third in 200 back and with 400 free relay B team against Nevada, Northern Arizona (Jan. 28)...captured the Mountain West title in the 100 back (53.24), as well as in the 200 free relay (school-record 1:28.43), 200 medley relay (1:37.66) and 400 medley relay (school-record 3:34.40), and finished fifth in the 50 free and ninth in the 200 back at Mountain West Championships (Feb. 16-19)...finishing 12th and earned All-America honorable mention with the 200 free relay at NCAA Championships (March 15-18), setting a school-record time of 1:28.31 in prelims...also finished 24th with the 200 medley relay.

    FRESHMAN (2015-16): Earned a pair of All-Mountain West honors (100 back, 200 back)...nabbed top time in the 400 free relay (3:28.07) and finished second in the 100 back (58.51), 200 free relay (1:35.82) and 200 medley relay (1:47.37), and third in the 50 free (24.01) and 400 medley relay (3:56.22) against Idaho (Oct. 9-10)...took fifth in the 100 back (57.93) against Utah and Florida Gulf Coast (Oct. 30)...took second in the 200 medley relay (1:46.68), third in the 100 back (58.68) at BYU (Oct. 31)...finished fifth with the 200 free relay (1:31.25), 12th in the 100 back (54.98) and 400 free relay (3:24.23), and 14th with the 200 medley relay B team (1:44.70) at the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 19-21)...third in the 100 back (57.42) and 400 free relay (3:30.29), and fourth in the 200 back (2:06.17) against Utah and No. 18 UCLA (Jan. 16)...swept the 100 back (56.58) and 200 back (2:03.90) and took third with the 200 medley relay (1:51.75) against Oregon State (Jan. 30)...took third in the 200 back (1:56.59) and fourth in the 100 back (54.09) at Mountain West Championships (Feb. 17-20).

    HIGH SCHOOL: Captured a pair of gold medals at the Morris County Championships for the second-straight season en route to being named the 2014-15 Daily Record (N.J.) Swimmer of the Year...successfully defended her titles in the 50 free (area-best time of 23.87) and 100 back, and took home silver medals as part of Roxbury's 200 free and 200 medley relay the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) Meet of Champions she finished fifth in the 100 back (57.22) and sixth in the 50 free (24.04)...owns six individual and three relay records at Roxbury, and is a five-year YMCA National Team member...holds qualifying times in five events as a YMCA National Team member, and at the 2015 New Jersey Meet of Champions finished in the Top 40 in seven events with a top finish of 14th in the 100 back (55.76).
