Boise State women's swimming and diving finished second at the 2013 Mountain West Championships with 575 points. Rachel Heaney won the 200-yard butterfly to highlight the final day of competition.

Freshman (2012-13): Broke school record in 200 back to place fifth at 2013 MW Championships...finished sixth in 100 back and competed in 50 free at conference meet...led off Boise State's third-place 200 medley relay team at conference...clocked NCAA `B' cuts in 100 and 200 back...swept the 100 and 200 backstroke events at four dual meets for eight individual wins on the year...won both backstroke races at Idaho (Oct. 6) in collegiate debut...also won both races at Oregon State (Nov. 3), against BYU (Dec. 15) and against Wyoming (Jan. 13)...was runner up in both backstrokes at No. 13 Arizona (Nov. 17)...took third in 200 back and eighth in 100 back at Missouri Invite...member of six winning relay teams...set lifetime bests in 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 100 back and 200 back.
High School: Three-year letterwinner at Las Lomas High School under coach Dan Cottam...reached the finals of the 100-yard backstroke at the CIF North Coast Section Championships each of her three seasons...finished fifth as a senior...as a junior swam leadoff on two runner-up relay teams at the state meet...advanced to finals of 100-yard freestyle as a junior and senior...All-Diablo Foothill Athletic League First Team each of her three seasons...team captain as a senior...also competed for Crow Canyon Sharks Swim Club under coaches Cottam, Josh Scott and Ethan Hall... competed at 2011 summer junior nationals and 2012 winter junior nationals...three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
