Head coach Kristin Hill shares her thoughts on the Denver and Oregon State dual meets.

JUNIOR (2014-15): Part of Mountain West champion 400 free relay team and earned seven All-Mountain West honors (100 back, 100 free, 200 IM, 200 and 400 free relays, 200 and 400 medley relays)...claimed five wins in season opener against Utah (Oct. 8)...captured 100 back, 100 free and 200 IM along with being on winning 200 medley relay and 200 free relay teams, setting pool record and eighth-fastest time in school history in 200 medley relay...won four events at Idaho (Oct. 11), collecting individual wins in the 100 back, 50 free and 200 IM along with being part of the winning 200 medley relay team...went 4-for-4 again at Oregon State (Oct. 31), being part of two winning relay teams (200 MR, 400 FR) and winning the 100 back and 50 free...set school records in the 200 IM (1:58.83) and 100 back (52.92) while scoring in nine events at the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 20-22)...placed fifth in the 200 IM and 100 back, seventh in the 100 free and ninth in the 50 free, while scoring in all five relays, highlighted by third place with the 400 free relay team and fourth with the 200 free relay team...part of three winning relay teams (800 free, 200 and 400 medley) and had four runner-up finishes (200 back, 100 fly, 200 and 400 free relays) at the Jean Freeman Invitational (Dec. 5-6)...captured 200 free relay at USD Relay Meet (Jan. 3)...won the 200 IM and 200 free relay with runner-up finishes in 100 back and 200 medley relay at Denver (Jan. 8)...went 4-for-4 against Wyoming, capturing the 100 back, 100 free, 200 IM and 200 medley relay (Jan. 24)...put together another 4-for-4 outing against Nevada, winning the 100 back, 100 free, and 200 free and 400 medleys (Jan. 31)...was part of 400 free relay team (with Brittany Aoyama, Jessica Bottelberghe and Katelyn Martin) that captured the Mountain West title and set a school record with a time of 3:16.88 at Mountain West Championships (Feb. 18-21)...finished second in five events at the meet, including the 100 back (school-record 52.64), 200 IM (school-record 1:58.06), 200 free relay (1:30.32), 200 medley relay (1:38.11) and 400 medley relay (3:36.02), along with a fifth-place finish in the 100 free (49.41)...competed in the 100 back, 100 free and 200 IM at the NCAA Championships (March 19-21), finishing 31st, 48th and 36th, respectively.

SOPHOMORE (2013-14): Garnered six All-Mountain West honors (100 back, 100 free, 200 and 400 free relays, 200 and 400 medley relays)...part of winning 400 and 800 free relay teams, finished third in the 100 free (50.21), took fourth in the 200 free (1:49.81) at the Hawkeye Invite (Dec. 7-8)...captured the 200 medley relay and the 50 free (23.53) against Denver (Jan. 25)...part of 200 medley relay team that finished second at Mountain West Championships, then, in a subsequent time trial, set a school and conference record with an NCAA "A" standard time of 1:37.75 (Feb. 19)...got second with the 200 free relay team and finished ninth in the 50 free on Day Two of the championships (Feb. 20)...turned in two runner-up finishes on Day Three, this time with the 400 medley relay team and in the 100 back, setting a school record with a time of 53.08 in the latter (Feb. 21)...took third with the 400 free relay team and finished fourth in the 100 free on the event's final day (Feb. 22)...competed in seven events at the NCAA Championships (50 and 100 frees, 100 back, 200 and 400 free relays, 200 and 400 medley relays) from March 20-22, topping out with a 23rd-place finish in the 400 free relay.

FRESHMAN (2012-13): Scored in three individual events and was a member of three scoring relays at 2013 Mountain West Championships...broke school record in prelims of 100 back at conference meet, finished fifth in finals and earned NCAA `B' cut...placed 10th in 50 free and 12th in 100 free...anchored 200 medley relay (third place), 200 free relay (fifth place) and 400 free relay (third place)...also anchored school-record 200 medley relay during time trial at conference meet...finished the season ranked No. 80 in the NCAA in 100 back...set Boise State freshman record in 50 free (previous mark a tie between All-Americans Amber Boucher and Stephanie North)...scored in 50 free, 100 free and 100 back at Missouri Invite...picked up first-career win at Denver (Jan. 25) in 50 free...added win in 100 back at Colorado State (Jan. 26)...runner up four times during duels: 100 free against BYU (Dec. 15); 50 free and 100 back against Wyoming (Jan. 19); 100 free at Denver (Jan. 25)...emerged as Boise State's anchor leg on relays during second half of season...among all-time top-10 individuals in five events...set lifetime bests in 50 free, 100 free, 100 back, 100 fly and 200 IM.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at East Anchorage High School under coach Cliff Murray...seven-time state champion, including three individual titles in the 100-yard backstroke...as a senior won 100 backstroke in 54.78 to shatter own state record (previously 56.61) and an automatic All-America time...clocked All-America consideration times in 50- and 200-yard freestyle at state meet as a senior...time in 50 freestyle came leading off East's state-champion 200-yard freestyle relay team...won two regional championships each of her four years...team captain as a senior...also competed for Northern Lights Swim Club under coach Ben Kitchen...three-time Alaska Female Swimmer of the Year on the club circuit...state-record holder in 100-meter backstroke short and long course...finished fifth at 2011 Western Senior Sectionals...competed at 2011 Summer Nationals and 2011 Winter Nationals...USA Swimming Scholastic All-American...graduated summa cum laude and member of the National Honors Society.
