Boise State women's swimming and diving finished second at the 2013 Mountain West Championships with 575 points. Rachel Heaney won the 200-yard butterfly to highlight the final day of competition.
Career Highlights: Competed at 2012 NCAA Championships...2012 honorable mention All-America (200 free relay)...left as school record holder on four relays (200 free, 400 free, 800 free and 200 medley)...left as member of the 10 fastest 200 free relay times in school history, 29 top-10 relay times overall...left with one individual all-time top-10 mark...finished career among all-time top 10 Broncos in 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 100 fly and 100 breast...competed at 2011 summer nationals...nine individual event wins...seven gold medals (12 overall) at conference championships...helped Boise State to three conference team championships...scored 595 points at conference meets.
Senior (2012-13): Finished in top four of three individual events and member of three scoring relays at 2013 Mountain West Championships...took silver in 50 free, bronze in 100 free and fourth in 100 fly earning an NCAA `B' cut in each event...finished season ranked No. 98 in NCAA in 100 fly... led off 800 free relay (fourth place), swam on 200 free relay (fifth place) and 400 free relay (third place)...swam butterfly on school-record 200 medley relay during time trial at conference meet... came from behind to take second in 50 free final, a race in which second through fifth places were separated by .03 seconds...became third Bronco to break 50 seconds in 100 free...second Bronco to break 54 seconds in 100 fly...seven individual wins and 10 relay wins during dual-meet season...took first in 50 free and 100 fly at Colorado State (Jan. 26) in final duel of career...set lifetime bests in 100 free, 200 free and 100 fly...received Boise State Coaches' Award at year-end banquet.
Junior (2011-12): 2012 honorable mention All-American, swimming second on the Broncos' 200-yard freestyle relay team (15th at NCAA Championships)...competed in 50 free (63rd) and 100 fly (54th) at national championships...helped Boise State to gold medals in 200 and 400 free relays at 2012 Mountain West Championships...set three career bests, including two at the conference meet placing fourth in the 100 fly and fifth in the 50 free...earned NCAA 'B' cut in both events...also took 11th in the 100 free...helped Broncos to undefeated season in 400 free relay, competing in six of eight races...set personal best in 100 breast to finish 12th at Missouri Invite (Dec. 2)...took second in 50 free against Oregon State (Jan. 21)...runner up in 100 free at Seattle (Nov. 19)...member of 11 winning relays...Academic All-MW.
Sophomore (2010-11): Won six medals at the 2011 WAC Championships, including helping four relay teams to gold...took second in the 100 fly and rounded out a 1-2-3 finish for Boise State in the 50 free with an NCAA 'B' Cut...won the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relays and 200 medley relay...finished sixth in the 100 free...was a member of 18 winning relay teams during the year...won three individual titles in dual-meet competition...won 200 individual medley on consecutive weekends against Seattle (Jan. 15) and Idaho (Jan. 22)...honorable mention CSCAA Scholar All-American...WAC All-Academic.
Freshman (2009-10): Helped the Broncos set school records in the 200 and 400 free relays...earned a gold medal by helping the Broncos to a first-place finish in the 400 free relay at the WAC Championships...began Bronco career with an overall second-place finish in the 50 free at the WAC Shootout (Oct. 9-10)...helped the Broncos to a win over Northern Arizona (Nov. 13) with a second-place finish in the 50 free and a third-place finish in the 100 free...took third in the 50 free against San Diego (Jan. 9)...finished 14th at the WAC Championships in the 100 fly and took 16th in the 100 free...WAC All-Academic.
High School: Swam under coach Breanne Hentshke at Frontier High School...won the Valley championship in 2008 in the 100 breast and placed second in the 50 free...was a four-time all-area selection...holds school records in the 50 and 100 free as well as the 200 IM...competed under coach Keith Moore with the Bakersfield Swim Club.
