Boise State women's swimming and diving finished second at the 2013 Mountain West Championships with 575 points. Rachel Heaney won the 200-yard butterfly to highlight the final day of competition.
Sophomore (2012-13): Earned two individual medals, scored in three individual events and three relays at 2013 Mountain West Championships...grabbed silver in 100 breast for second-straight year, breaking school record and becoming first Bronco to go under 1:01...finished third in 200 IM in school-record time...won B Final in 200 back for ninth place overall...earned NCAA `B' cuts in all three events...finished season ranked No. 50 in NCAA in 100 breast and No. 86 in 200 IM...helped 200 medley relay place third, 200 free relay place fifth and 400 free relay place third at MW Championships...also swam on school-record 200 medley relay during time trial at conference meet...at Missouri Invite took third in 100 breast, ninth in 200 IM and ninth in 200 back...member of 10 winning relay teams during dual-meet competition.
Freshman (2011-12): 2012 honorable mention All-American, swimming third on the Broncos' 200-yard freestyle relay team (15th at NCAA Championships)...also competed in 100 breast (46th), 200 back (48th) and 200 IM (59th) at national championships...one of 58 freshmen swimmers to qualify for the meet...earned five medals and broke six school records at the 2012 Mountain West Championships...won conference title in 200 IM, becoming the first Bronco to break two minutes in the event and giving a Boise State freshman a conference title four-straight years...took silver in the 100 breast and bronze in the 200 back with additional school records...earned NCAA 'B' cuts in all three events...time in 100 breast was second-fastest in MW history...helped the Broncos to gold medals, school records and all-time MW records in the 200 free and 400 medley relays...set an additional school record in the 200 medley relay at the conference meet...finished the season ranked in the top 75 of the NCAA in the 100 breast (62nd) and the 200 IM (74th)...helped Broncos to undefeated season in the 400 free relay, competing in two races...won three individual events and eight relays...Academic All-MW.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at St. Francis High School, under head coach Kirk Johansen...2011 River Cats All-City Swimmer of the Year...All-American honors as a junior and senior...led Troubadours to back-to-back CIF Sac-Joaquin Sectional Championships in her last two seasons...guided St. Francis to Delta River League Championships each of her four seasons...two-time section champion in 100 back...placed third at sectionals in 200 IM as a senior...named team's outstanding swimmer each year... all league selection each season, including in four events as a senior...as a member of Arden Hills Swimming Club participated at 2011 Summer Nationals...also competed at Winter Nationals in 2009 and 2010...plans to study elementary education.
