Broncos Secure Mountain West Regular Season Title

FRESNO, Calif. – Boise State softball secured the Mountain West regular season title after recording a 3-0 shutout against Fresno State Friday night.

Lindsey Walljasper (13-4) fired a one-hitter against the Bulldogs (22-30, 9-12 MW), striking out five batters.

The Broncos (31-14, 16-4) got on the board when Serena Huchingson knocked an RBI-single in the top of the third.

In the sixth inning, Sydney Groves came in as a pinch hitter and hit a sacrifice fly to give the Blue and Orange a 2-0 lead.

Kelsey Hall sealed the victory for the Broncos with an RBI-single in the top of the seventh.
