Event Services
Looking to be a part of Boise State Athletics operations team to provide support for internal and external events? Join the team today as an Event Services graduate assistant.
Job Summary
- Coordinate external / internal group and individual tours of our various athletic facilities.
- Serve as the primary Event Services contact for assigned varsity sports, coordinating with parking, security, and ticketing staff.
- Oversee the single game chairback program for Football and Olympic sports.
- Coordinate and manage student scheduling for event services positions including ticket scanners, bag check, single game seatback sales, and ADA shuttles.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- General knowledge of event management and guest resolution
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in working in a fast-paced environment
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a team setting
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Organized, detail-orientated, and able to meet deadlines
- Must be self-motivated and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including coaches/athletes, event staff, administration, guests etc.
- Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations regarding compliance issues
Salary and Benefits
- Full tuition coverage for the Master of Athletic Leadership (MAL) program
- Annual stipend of approximately $15,000, paid bi-weekly over the academic year
- Medical health insurance coverage through the Graduate Assistant student health insurance plan

Spirit Squad
The Boise State Broncos are looking for their next Graduate Assistant to join the Spirit Squad coaching staff. This role will play an integral part of assisting the head coach in the development and organization of the Bronco Spirit Squad.
Job Summary
- Assist Head Coach with daily administration and operations for the Spirit Squad.
- Attend and support coaching efforts at Cheer, Dance, and Mascot practices.
- Attend and supervise Spirit Squad athletes at home Football, Volleyball, and Men's and Women's Basketball games.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior coaching or athletic experience in cheer, dance or related sport
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assisting with team operations, event supervision, or administrative support within collegiate athletics
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Organized, detail-orientated, and willing to deal with confrontation
- Ability to communicate well with prospective student-athletes, current student-athletes and staff, and maintain a high level of people skills
- Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations regarding compliance issues
