
Broncos Lose Final Game to Bulldogs

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State squeezed home a run in the bottom of the eighth to beat Boise State 2-1 in the final game of regular season conference play, Saturday.
The Blue and Orange's lone run came in the top of the fourth when Alycia Flores knocked an RBI-single, giving the Broncos (31-15, 16-5 Mountain West) a 1-0 lead.
The Bulldogs (23-30, 10-12) tied the score in the bottom of the frame and won on a Vanessa Hernandez sacrifice bunt.
Lindsey Walljasper (13-5) gave up an unearned run and suffered the loss.
