BOISE, Idaho – Boise State dropped its first home contest since 2023, falling to Fresno State 30-7 Saturday afternoon at Albertsons Stadium.

Boise State also held Fresno State to 224 total yards, marking the fifth time this season the Blue and Orange have held an opponent to under 300 yards of total offense. The Broncos finished with 193 yards of total offense.Â
The Bulldogs put points on the scoreboard first, finding the end zone with a 1-yard rush with 4:16 on the clock in the opening frame. Cutforth found Chase Penry for the score, marking each of their first touchdowns as Broncos.
Fresno State converted on a Boise State turnover right before the half, kicking a 36-yard field goal to take a 10-7 advantage into the locker room.
The Bulldogs made it a two-possession game with a touchdown early in the second half after capitalizing on a Bronco fumble. Fresno State added to its lead with another touchdown midway through the third. The visiting team added a pair of field goals in the final frame to come away with a 30-7 victory.
