FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Despite the first two-career home runs by Kaylee Vieira, Boise State softball lost twice Saturday at the Wooo Pig Classic.

Â
Against the Mavericks, Boise State trailed 10-1 before it got its bats going. A sacrifice fly by Marissa Gonzalez and an RBI-single from Skylar Stroh cut the deficit to 10-3 in the fifth.
Â
In the sixth, Vieira homered with a runner aboard and Jorja Crider added an RBI-double that closed the gap to 10-6.
Â
The offense was quiet against the Jayhawks with Vieira's solo home run in the fifth accounting for the Broncos' only run.
