WHAT'S NEXT: The Boise State women's tennis team will head to Euguene, Oregon, to compete in the Duck Invitational Nov. 1-3.
WHO'S IN: Ariadna Briones Ginesta, Ryan Kershner, Lorelyz Marruffo, Ella Piron, Paula Schaefer, Bhakti Shah and Masa Viriant will participate in the three-day event.
THE FIELD: Boise State will compete against host Gonzaga, Idaho, Oregon, Seattle and Washington State.
THE FORMAT: The teams will compete in a hidden dual format, with singles played as best of two sets with a 10-point match tiebreak. Doubles will be a single set, featuring a seven-point tiebreak at six games all.
THE SCHEDULE: Matches will begin each day at 10 a.m. MT, with doubles and singles play on Friday and Saturday, followed by singles-only matches on Sunday.
A NEW PARTNERSHIP: Senior Shah and freshman Schaefer paired up for the first time at the Mountain Region Championships, where they went 3-1 with a victory over the No. 8 ranked duo of Aya El Sayed and Pia Rebec (Colorado).
SINGLES SUCCESS: Both Briones Ginesta and Schaefer hold winning records in singles this fall.

REVAMPED FALL FORMAT: For the first time in NCAA history, individual champions will be crowned in the fall, as the NCAA Individual Championships are set for Nov. 19-24 in Waco, Texas. Sophomore Zdena Safarova secured a spot to compete in singles following her victory at the ITA Mountain Region Championships.
