
Broncos Set to Compete at the MW Championships in Fresno

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the 2025 Mountain West Cross Country Championships, hosted by Fresno State, Friday.
"We pride ourselves on being a championship-level program, and we are excited for the Mountain West Championships which begins Friday." -Boise State Head Cross Country Coach Pat McCurry.
The MW Championships will be held at Woodward Park in Fresno, California. To begin the meet, the men will run an 8k beginning at 10 a.m. MT. The women will follow with a 6k, which commences at 10:45 a.m. MT.
In the 2024 MW Championships, the women finished second, tallying 54 points. It was the second-consecutive year in which the team garnered second place.
The men earned a fourth-place finish, notching 85 points. Two Broncos placed in the top 15.

- Head Coach Pat McCurry is in his second season at the helm of Boise State's cross country program. He previously served as an assistant with the Broncos from 2016-18, and also was the head coach at College of Idaho and San Francisco.
- In the MW's pre-championship poll, both squads placed second. The women collected 110 points and two first-place votes, while the men garnered 69 points.
